My Top Ten (10) Karaoke Experiences so Far in 2026
This is NOT a list to crown the best karaoke female or male hosts. In our view, each host is a king or queen in his or her own right!
Although I've not done that much karaoke this year, I have prepared a list of my personal top ten most enjoyable karaoke moments, relating to the hosting of the events (at the actual weekly karaokes gigs and posts in our JamaicaKaraoke.Com Whatsapp Group), so far, during 2026.
We don't take the goodwill and non-monetary support of our fans for granted. This is why we have taken the time to acknowledge the kindness, good service and professionalism we've encountered on the karaoke circuit. (To be undated ocassionally - Last Updated on 5th June 2026 at 8.am.)
1. Thanks, Babyface, from Latitude Restaurant and Lounge, Bogue Estate, Montego Bay, for being very respectful and supportive behind the scenes. She must be one of the few persons from our group to have randomly posted a video of me, singing at someone else's karaoke in Kingston, on her status earlier this year with the word 'You go Trevor!'
2. I had a good time singing with Charmaine, recently at Island Delight Sports Club - 71b Molynes Road, Kingston. We tried singing some random songs. Charmaine is respectful and most supportive
3. Di Lot which is located at 13 Constant Spring Road, Kingston, is one of the nicer venues with a designated stage. I stopped by a couple of times earlier this year and did a duet with Arrie on one occasion (we did a few duets in the past). I liked sound, enjoyed the performance and appreciated the kind crowd responsive.
5. I enjoyed singing at Fumes Shisha Lounge and Grill, 61 Knutsford Boulevard, Kingston, a couple weeks ago with the animated Lady Latty.
5. Although I've never been to any of TeamNoSleep's karaoke before, he posted (in the JamaicaKaraoke.Com chatroom) an inspiring rendition of 'I'll Give Anything to Fall in Love' which he performed at Top City Lucky 8 Sports and Gaming Lounge - Over ton Plaza, Montego Bay, earlier this year. This is a winner because, I was immediately inspired to go attempt to learn and sing this 'new' old song.
6. Although I've not been to any of Zee Y's karaokes this year, a video clip of him singing a medley at KDG Chill Spot Bar, in Longville Park Clarendon was posted (in the JamaicaKaraoke.Com chatroom). This was an inspiring performance which reminded me why I would continue to support his gig.
7. I recently went to G&S Lounge at 67B Hagley Park Road, Kingston, which was hosted by DJ Prince and although I didn't sing, I enjoy the nice vibes.
8. I enjoyed singing at TGI Fridays - 51 Hope Road, Kingston, with a terrific audience and with Raddicks at the controls.
